Magic the gathering (Island) Divert Disaster #0055 - Edge of Eternities - MTG Card (English) Common

Divert Disaster is a blue common instant from Edge of Eternities. This flexible counterspell gives opponents a difficult choice: pay an additional two mana to let their spell resolve, or have it countered. It is an affordable way to disrupt opposing plays while keeping mana available for other actions.

If your opponent pays the additional cost, you create a Lander artifact token instead. The token can later be sacrificed to search your library for a basic land and put it onto the battlefield tapped, giving you a useful resource even when the opponent manages to resolve their spell.
